About me...

I grew up in the family art business, managing an art gallery, at age 13. I was fortunate to have observed and studied many artists with different styles. Always dreaming of being an artist, I dabbled throughout my life. I began focusing on painting at 40.

My work is about perspective, as is my life. To be able to look at a piece and see something different, each time, is very important.

I prefer abstract art and thought. They are synonymous. They are one. I am influenced a great deal by Japanese culture; as I am a Buddhist and dharma teacher. The learning and teaching of Buddhism and my perspective heavily affect my work.

I infuse different colors, shapes and textures in each piece.

Life is texture, Texture is life.
